so much more than this list & perhaps more than anything, friendship. Love you all. Third time on the mountain, and the best yet. #blwc19

So many highlights to #blwc19, but a huge one was being @JennyBoylan’s fellow. She’s been a hero of mine for a long time, both for her powerful written work and for her presence in the world. To watch her work in the classroom was a privilege and an honor.
I had a fix-our-hair-in-the-bathroom-mirror moment with @JennyBoylan yesterday morning and it was as delightful as you might imagine #envyme #blwc19

Go hear Zeyn read if you can - I had the huge pleasure of being a #BLWC19 Fellow alongside him, and his work is as phenomenal as he is a genuinely wonderful soul. 🌺

In my latest dream, the flood was coming into a warehouse, where I & several other people were, some of whom seemed to be #blwc19 friends. But you know dreams & their fuzziness... we all swam out & survived but the moment of, the water is coming, we are stuck, was...
Grateful to all my #blwc19 workshop members for their wise wise feedback. Digging into that desire essay again. @aminattaforna @LaurenMarkham_ @NicoleShawan @iweathersby @kkmcwhat @DianaCejasMD

This poem by @KATIE2CONDON is just 🔥. Hearing it at #blwc19 was really something.
“I say: I inherited Sappho’s pussy & I believe me. God says, Thou shalt not kill. & I’m like, But what about with my eyes. I never asked for the capacity to love/ ugly things, but here I am.” I keep thinking abt this @KATIE2CONDON poem and wondering how
I’ve loved Giovanni’s Room for years, but I appreciated this article more because of the #blwc19 @alexanderchee lecture on Baldwin’s POV. nytimes.com/2019/09/05/t-m…
I had the honor to meet and work with @JennyBoylan last week at #BLWC19. Now that I'm off the mountain and back in the trenches of revising, Boylan's words on revision ring true, as does her perfect rendering of the magic that is #BreadLoaf. nytimes.com/2019/09/04/opi…
As someone who had to come out twice-- first time as gaaaaaaay, second time as trans non-binary, both times after ten respective years in the closet-- I LOVE reading the brilliant Jenny Boylan's words on revision, re-imagining life, and #blwc19. Writers revise. It's what we do.<3
What I learned at #Breadloaf--about revision of work, about invention of the self. @jerichobrown @liamcallanan @alexmlwrites @alexanderchee @speakdeadly @middlebury nyti.ms/2NOX7mf

& I can’t wait to read #ofwomenandsalt! ❤️ #blwc19 was seriously magic. #305
So much 305 pride! Literally cannot wait for this memoir which is going to be amazing. #blwc19 was truly magic & made me more excited than ever about the writing that is coming into the world ❤️
Also super grateful to have met @GabiMGarcia outside the #BLWC19 dining hall. Who knew I'd meet a fellow Miamian--who grew up just a few minutes away from me!--in Vermont?! (And thank you, @GabiMGarcia, for chuckling at the parts of my reading that reminded you of home.)

even when it’s uncertain and scary as hell. Thank you @aminattaforna & @LaurenMarkham_ & all the rest of my #blwc19 crew. ❤️❤️❤️ @DianaCejasMD @NicoleShawan
The #essay I submitted for this year’s #blwc19 workshop with the wonderful @aminattaforna was the first new essay I’d written in a while. The first time I’d worked on something outside my #memoir project in awhile. It was also the first thing I wrote after making some big changes

Like. A lot of photos of plants. And a few of the poems that were posted in the woods Fun (?) Fact: I memorized and recited this poem, "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" by Robert Frost, in third grade. Nerdy little Diana loved this sign so very much. #BLWC19
Another random selection of photos from #BreadLoafWritersConference... Pretty sure that Robert Frost and my grandma have the same taste in pottery #BLWC19

Early celebration of the incredible @alexanderchee ‘s bday (one day early). So honored to be the Fellow in his workshop at #breadloaf this year. #blwc19
“When you leave this mountain you may find yourself among others who aren’t as engaged with the imagination as you are. So I’ll just leave you w this poem, A SECRET LIFE, by Stephen Dunn.” —Matthew Olzmann to #BreadLoaf Writers’ Conference #blwc19 bit.ly/2KZoBT2
Bread Loaf was far more amazing, on so many levels, than it had any right to be. Feeling very, very grateful tonight. #blwc19
