In the 1930s, the Boulder Chamber of Commerce hung a “Welcome to Boulder” sign over Broadway. The sign hung near the intersection with Norwood Ave, a few blocks north of what was then the city limits. It greeted visitors driving from Lyons and Estes Park. #boulderhistory
