Apple fixed this by updating a remote plist config file containing correct #BridgeOS versions. Catalina installer unchanged.

The #apple #t2 #bridgeOS has plenty of loose files such as plists and pem files that can be modified and persist across reboots, even though the kernel won’t remain patched.
