Imagine if Joe Biden was the client and Donald Trump the video editor. Biden demands perfection, Trump claims he can fix anything, and the final cut is a chaotic mess. Maybe the real issue is that neither truly listens to the other. Thoughts? #BidenVsTrump #ClientVsEditor
Tried a creative client & editor chat style to present some highlights of my latest project. Where I transformed raw footage into a minimal yet premium-style reel edit. DM for collaboration #clientvseditor #videoediting #edithighlights #minimalediting #motionGraphics
Client: Can you handle this complex edit? Editor: Of course! If ISRO can ace docking with SPADEX, I can nail this edit with precision! 🎥🚀✨ #ClientVsEditor #AhamProductions #프리티걸_제니_생일왔트라 #SEVENTEEN #DaredevilBornAgain #ceasefire #arcane #ISRO #SPADExMission
Client: Can you add more effects and make it grand? Editor: Sure, but if I go any grander, Shankar might credit me in Game Changer! #EditorHumor #ClientVsEditor #GameChanger #AhamProductions
Editing for clients is basically: • Do all the work • Hope they like it • Hope YouTube likes it (Copyright) • Hope you get paid • Hope you don’t go insane
Recent highlights i edited for a client inside After Effects Looking for an editor? I gotchu.
The problem is lumping together all page builders into one bucket. Bricks, for example, gives much more granular control than core for client editing. academy.bricksbuilder.io/article/builde… Combine this with Advanced Themer and sky is the limit. brendan-oconnell.com/simplify-clien… by @brendanocwp
Good question, both, with smart constraints. Page builders are great for developers/designers who want tons of options. But clients? That’s overwhelming. I’m glad WordPress stuck to their vision - the block editor strikes the right balance for end users.
True, though I think the block editor could be that solution if we embraced it more. Clients don’t need 1000 options, they feel overwhelmed
Talked to an editor posting “how to edit better” vids. Goal? Get clients. Audience? Editors. That’s why no one’s buying. We switched to client-focused content, now biz owners reach out. (I post for editors. That’s my goal.) If you want clients, post for those who pay you.
Most editors don’t lose clients because of quality. They lose them because they act like freelancers. → No systems. → No deadlines. → No clarity. Clients don’t want chaos; they want consistency. Be the editor who makes their life easier, not harder.
Si un posible cliente les dice: "El otro diseñador no me entrego el editable y esto me urge para ayer" Ojo mucho ojo no dejes que te engañen! Ese cliente va a ser peor que un grano en la nalga!
If you don't mind. What are the cons of each? I've been using Claude to code ne editable sections, usually just by screenshotting the part of my competitors website I want
“I’m an editor and I will work with you, but only when you reply to me. I checked your link, and I can do this work.”
Often, the real problem is the client. They’ll limit your creativity, micromanage the process, then squeeze their face when the bill drops. No way they're getting the result
If it is an attempt then it is bad attempt to be candid my oga. Windows and terrace are specially designed in Japan Architecture to control indoor light. Then we don't often follow principles of design here, which is obvious from this design. Japan Architecture adheres to it.
If your editor has a built-in GUI, you're not a programmer, you're a user.
Is not editors fault, is the client! I'm a graphic designer and clients always want more changes even if it doesn't look good, there's a point that we get tired and just follow instructions to finish the task asap u_u

That's a win. He said you're a professional It's not your fault the client is broke lol
Cheap client: “We don’t really have a budget right now…” “Can you give me a discount? I’ll bring more work later.” “It’s just a small project, shouldn’t take you long.” “Can you match this price I got on Fiverr?” “We’re a startup — can you help us out for now?” “Can you do it…
Most editors think clients only want final results. Wrong. They want to trust your process. Post your timeline. Show your workflow. Talk about your revisions. Transparency builds more clients than any reel ever will. Agree or disagree?
editors if you don't wanna work with a client just tell him, don't ghost, that's just not cool in a professional setting, they're not your side chick
