MIT scientists found the limits of AI coding. Models can crank out boilerplate and simple apps, but when it comes to deep logic and complex software, they break down. The hype says AI will replace programmers. The reality is it still struggles with the hardest parts of coding.

Opinion: AI coding model limits are mostly for vibe-coders. I've just worked for 3 hours on Laravel Daily page. And I was actually THINKING/CODING, offloading SOME parts to Claude. And used only 26% of a 5-hour-limit. Because I didn't make huge one-shot prompts.
The reality of being a programmer with a finite amount of memory! 😂
Devs: "YOUR CODE CANNOT BE LONGER THAN 80 CHARACTERS PER LINE!" Also devs: "On the web, lines can be as many characters as you want!"
