my hobby project workflow with claude code + a baby is insane rn. I do all my designing/reviewing/testing between 9pm and midnight (with baby feeding breaks) and write a big to-do list of fixes and improvements, and set claude on that while I'm watching baby nap or play
Recently, I've been writing code so much that I barely have time to come on this app to post or reply to posts. Man, it's not easy to balance social media with work life!
8 hours of non-stop coding, 2 intense meetings still not feeling like taking a break. The grind continues
Its 4am and I’m still coding, tbh I’m not proud of this. I have to be at the office by 9am, I wonder how tomorrow even do that and still be active 😩
You may not get a job with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills, but you can build products that pay off your bills. Code is your way to cash!
Coding every day can lead to burnout and reduced productivity. Breaks help maintain focus, creativity, and mental health.
It's ok to be a dev and not have personal coding projects on the go. Usually after a week of working I don't want to touch a laptop on the weekend! That doesn't make me a worse developer.
Don't feel afraid to let your body rest. Rest and sleep are 2 of the most important things you can do to improve the quality of your #code. Recover your energy then start back with a fresh perspective Look after yourself❤️ #100DaysOfCode #womenwhocode #mentalhealth

When I started coding a year ago, I did 20-30 min at a time, and that was an accomplishment. As I fell in love with coding, I overcame the impossible and found 2-4 hours a day to code. We all start somewhere. Don’t let someone else’s reality affect yours. #momscancode #codenewbie

Being able to program “on the side” is a privilege. Lives, kids, partners, comics, Xbox, are ALL fun side things. If it feeds your spirit and you HAVE TIME, sure, code on the side. If not, DON’T do side stuff AND feel ok about it!
What's your opinion on programmers who are not passionate about programming, have no side projects, and only program at their jobs? dev.to/pungiish/progr…
