#Gamecube #4 from the pile complete! Beautiful Char Red case, Pluto HDMI using a @AngryHelder flex, @collingall fan and assembly, USB C power, Controller port addressable LEDs. My first Pluto with lots of lessons learned. #ConsoleModding

#Gamecube Gems polished! I use the @DragonsHoardLab method of wet sanding with 800 and then 3000 grit. Then hitting it with the Ultimate Compound and then the Polish and it comes out looking great. #ConsoleModding #ConsoleRepair

Working through the Cube pile again. Finished a handsome classic black. Tomorrow I've got a lot of battery terminals and LEDs to solder, Gems to polish and a not very purple Indigo to retrobrite. #Gamecube #ConsoleModding #ConsoleRepair

Did a thing. I broke the little tab that holds the front panel control in an OG Xbox. I used my meager 3d model design skills to make an insert to hold it in place. It needs to be pushed out to remove the board but was a good quick fix. #ConsoleModding #OGXbox

#Dreamcast Controller PCB Party time! I'm going to put a replaceable battery port in, diode with a switch to allow for CR2032 or rechargeable, the self resetting fuse, and a new color changing LED. These PCBs and power switches are getting hard to find alone. #ConsoleModding

Pretty good improvement. I continue to learn on my Retrobrite journey. For example one high wattage ceramic heat lamp in an insulated environment is more than enough and I need to be thoughtful about residual heat. #Dreamcast #ConsoleModding.

My Dreamcast takes cartridges! Buttoning up this SATA based DC with a nice mount kit from @StoneAgeGamer . The SATA drive wouldn't allow the lid to close so I made a shell for the much smaller PCB inside. Turned out great! #Dreamcast #ConsoleModding

Tried my hand at one of the Hispeedido Dreamcast HDMI kits. For under 40 bucks it's a great kit. Super easy to install, nothing to remove, easy case mod. It won't be as good as a GEM but at 1/3 the price and half the install time is worth considering. #ConsoleModding #Dreamcast

Using liquid in the sealed baggies worked well! Now I need to get down how much to use as I used what was best described as "a lot". Also how long and maybe some flipping and rotating. Still really good results! #ConsoleModding #VideoGameRepair

Trying out a nice VA0 fan replacement from retroreflow.com . There is a high flow and quiet version. It has a 3d printed bezel that fits perfectly where the old fan was and plugs into the existing fan plug with no extra mods needed. Great stuff. #Dreamcast #ConsoleModding

Going through my PS2 repair pile. I'm no expert, but this tray may need to be replaced. A big win on a fun game inside though! #PS2 #ConsoleModding
