Il #14aprile 1896 brevettati i #cornflakes. Quasi per caso i fratelli #Kellogg lasciarono al sole alcuni semi di grano cotto, provando poi a schiacciarli e a tostarli. Quindi li fecero assaggiare, immersi nel latte, ad alcuni pazienti sottoposti a dieta insipida. Fu un successo.
