Those using the #DriverAutomationTool and having issues with @Dell downloads. Delete the OEMLinks.xml in the settings directory and try again. The source file in GitHub has been updated to use an alternative download URL (credit @SeguraOSD) while issues are being fixed.

HALP! Getting this error on a new install. Installed on a primary site server v.2010 with the latest rollup. ServerOS: 2016. .NET: 4.8. WMF: 5.1. Tried all different beta-versions of the .exe but no avail :( Anyone seen this? #driverautomationtool #sccm

So we ran into a small issue with #driverautomationtool and WMI returns "HP ProDesk 600 G4 DM PC", but the package name is spelled out in full. Once we renamed the package in #configmgr it works fine. fwiw (DAT rocks my world)

Yes. For example, in an OSD TS, @SCConfigMgr's awesome #DriverAutomationTool could poll the online web service, which could connect to the on-prem #SCCM site. This would allow web service based tools to work both over WAN and through internet.

Tried to download the driver pack for a Lenovo Thinkstation P620 with #DriverAutomationTool - the XML file from Lenovo download.lenovo.com/cdrt/td/catalo… points to the package for WinPE-drivers which makes DAT fail. Quick and dirty solution:

HALP! Getting this error on a new install. Installed on a primary site server v.2010 with the latest rollup. ServerOS: 2016. .NET: 4.8. WMF: 5.1. Tried all different beta-versions of the .exe but no avail :( Anyone seen this? #driverautomationtool #sccm
