I have used HtHaD for the past couple of years to "Prep" for the #Dungeon23 type projects. The difficulty is one of scale, HtHaD makes a VERY LARGE DUNGEON. It is better used with Veins of the Earth for a "Veinscrawl" type of adventure generation.

I’ve been getting back into drawing dungeons & world maps the last few years, and I’ve found it to be very relaxing. I just draw dungeons at the moment, inspired originally by the #dungeon23 craze. I find populating them hard to do, but drawing them is fun.

Lately I have had an interest in making some dungeons, maybe a really cool megadungeon. I failed at #dungeon23. But I think I could do it now.

I saw a few floating around earlier this year but I might have missed anything more organized. For myself, just been working on expanding where I left off for #dungeon23. Saw a lot of cool branches for #lore24 and #hexplore24 too if that didnt hit your radar. 🍻

WK40 RM293 - The botanist at the Inn was right, bees in this dungeon create clusters of hives, more like stalagmites than hives. They cover the floor, someone has built a wall around with what look like crumbled wall from the prison. Is it to protect them? #dungeon23

Last year, as #dungeon23 was kicking off, I came up with a #worldbuilding alternative: draw a smaller dungeon in Jan, then in Feb re-draw it like 100 years had passed. This was the dungeon chronicle. I've made some tables to define events and spruced it up to a pamphlet.

Having returned home from the business trip means I have, once again, access to my #dungeon23 journal. Time to start another floor. I need to finish the details on a room of the previous floor but I had some ideas during my trip I don't want to forget them.

#Dungeon23 Tons of portals, a bunch of rooms, and the option to go literally anywhere is a really fun way to spice up a long dungeon with off the wall options. Would use splitting the party sparingly, but would definitely do it. #ttrpg #dnd
