Today I had #ECT Number 6. Halfway there. Spoke to my psych for the first time since starting (she’s been on annual leave) and was really pleased with how it’s going. She is happy they changed to bilateral and twice weekly as she thinks I wouldn’t have taken it from her…
But where was that information when I was referred? I’m lucky, I have access to academic publications and have experience in understanding them, but Google #ECT (as one does when prescribed) and it is filled of fear mongering.
