We have factual reporting from @thetimes yesterday that confirms An Post is not using the Eircode postcode it specified itself...but just over 1yr ago @IrishTimes when writing for @pdverse of @autoaddress, a junior Eircode contractor, preferred to suggest the opposite #FIASCODE

No problem with your preference for the PSC but facts are facts - Gov legislating & allocating funds for one service but using it for another. €50M sent on a POSTCODE for delivering mail but not used as one or capable of being so used...FACT #FIASCODE

In Dec 2018, our CEO wrote an article explaining how Eircode was an unregulated National utility & citizens were being disadvantaged. This week's #eircodeforbikes #fiascode again confirms this. The Postal Act makes @EamonRyan/@1Hildegarde responsible for oversight- not being done

yet to justify the spend on #Eircode @Dept_CCAE claimed all kinds of benefits for An Post- none of which have been realised in 5 years. @1Hildegarde has oversight responsibility but has been convinced to look the other way @AlexWhite4EU @labour helped to facilitate this #FIASCODE
