A lot of twists & turns in this story, mainly me squirming in my chair lol. I failed draft after draft to get it "right." But a risky reframing in the final hour may just have saved it. Whatever the results, it's in, it's done #FlashFictionChallenge2022 & with 5 min to spare

Cutting it pretty close this round, but I just submitted my round 3 entry for @nycmidnight’s #flashfictionchallenge2022 with 30 minutes to spare. Completely ditched my story & started over in the 11th hour, but I’m much more happy with my new take on the prompts. Phew. I did it.

My ghost story has been submitted to Challenge 3 of the #FlashFictionChallenge2022. I always try to make my stories 1,000 words exactly. This story was 999 words. This is really going to bug me much more than it should. 🤣

This was the most we've struggled so far with a story in these contests. The prompts seemed doable, but putting them into a genuinely suspenseful and non-cliché story was a (possibly unsuccessful) battle. #FlashFictionChallenge2022 #nycmidnight
