Back to writing a bit of C again after a break for a couple weeks. I've discovered that printf() returns 1 for a null character but not for a null string. Now mine does too. #ft_printf

The first step is a half of the journey. Let the #ft_printf journey begin! Successfully, I can print %c, %s , %d (char, string, integers) #42life

Should’ve started my project with at least my own testing suite. So much appreciation to Gavin Fielder for creating this one of over 2000 tests for the #ft_printf project. Definitely starting future projects with test cases. #programming

After spending way too long in a hell of my own making, I've successfully completed #ft_printf! Praise Stallman! #42sv

Got all the error cases handled and waiting for #ft_printf to be evaluated!

#ft_printf is fun, first time using <stdarg.h> ... means we get to accept an indefinite number of arguments!

Haven't tweeted in a bit because I've been hardcore tinkering with #ft_printf and technically finished the #yellowbrickroad project (this Twitter project) but I'm going to try and maintain this Twitter account on my free time! Keep you all posted very soon 🤗

#ft_printf is a pain in the vim. 4 errors of float printing are remaining. I almost forgot to post on Twitter. May be I should write a shell code to generate a random text and send it through terminal 🤔

Even though I'm technically on vacation, I'm still working! Today is the time I've allotted to work on #ft_printf!

#ft_printf Update #3: I figured out how to print out floats kind of? The va_arg function can't read in floats so I had to resort to reading in doubles but it seems to match the output so I think it's fine?

Day 2 working on my #ft_printf project: I've already restarted the project twice because I realized that the original code I had wasn't going to work for specific corner cases. I guess this is what I get for not writing out a plan before getting started. 😫

Just getting started with the #ft_printf project: basically, I'm going to be creating C's printf functionality without actually using printf. Wish me luck! 😨 #42life

I’m a few days into implementing a printf function in C. I would love to finish today, but I’m much too afraid of floats to be certain! #ft_printf #42siliconvalley #42sv Geronimo!

#ft_printf #42life Changing switch statements to dispatch table. First time learning the concept is always an experience.

Still working on my #ft_printf, it’s harder than I thought it would be!

#ft_printf struggle! you're gonna be doing lots of if statements😂
