You __must__ have an A12 device to try it on iOS 12.4.1 -- Other chips are not supported at this time.

#iOS 12.4 (16G77) is no longer being signed for 39 devices ipsw.me/12.4

iOS 12.4 is no longer being signed by Apple, goodbye 👋

It should go without saying, DO NOT UPDATE TO 12.4.1 A7-A11: Update to 12.4 A12 (12.0-12.1.2): Save blobs and stay on your current firmware A12 (12.1.3-12.3.1): Update to 12.4 A12 (12.4): Stay and wait Any on 12.4.1: Downgrade to 12.4 Last chance to save blobs/update

The iOS 12.4.1 security content mentions patching the bug used by the SockPuppet exploit. Apple also credited me for assistance with the kernel — I credited them for the jailbreak so it seems like they wanted to do the same thing ;P.

All A7 -> A11 users are recommended to update to 12.4. I have to updated my last 12.1.1 device to 12.4 (all my devices are either on 11.3.1 or 12.4 now)

A12-A12X users: If you are on iOS 12.0-12.2 -> Stay If you are on iOS 12.3-12.3.1 -> Update to iOS 12.4 We have already gotten unsigned code execution working without PAC bypass and we are working on more but it’s still better to stay on a firmware with a (possible) PAC bypass.

Here’s another reminder that you should update to iOS 12.4 right now via Settings OTA, iTunes Restore or iTunes Upgrade if you are on iOS 12.3 with A12 and should consider updating from any other firmware on other devices. You should restore RootFS when updating without restore.

Here’s your daily reminder that #iOS 12.4 is still the latest and the signed firmware for any #iPhone, #iPad or #iPod and you can still restore or upgrade to it and jailbreak with the #unc0ver #jailbreak v3.5.2 and make your device your own.

If you are not already jailbroken-> Upgrade or downgrade to iOS 12.4 ASAP. If you are not already jailbroken on A12-A12X with iOS 12.3.x/13.0 -> Upgrade or downgrade to iOS 12.4 ASAP. In any other case -> Just stay wherever you are. In all cases -> Save SHSH blobs for iOS12.4.

WARNING - Apple is trying to unsign iOS 12.4 firmware, signing window could get closed anytime. Downgrade/Upgrade to iOS 12.4 right now if you want to jailbreak your device with unc0ver. #RETWEET for visibility

.@xerusdesign just successfully restored an iPhone 7 Plus to iOS 12.4 -- It seems we are still good here. Upgrade/Downgrade your devices ASAP if you need to!

It seems that Apple is trying to pull back the latest iOS 12.4 -- Downgrade/Upgrade to it ASAP if you are not already jailbroken.

Everyone should downgrade to iOS 12.4 before it gets unsigned... Wait, it is the latest firmware, it can’t get unsigned ;P. Jokes aside, expect Apple to push a patch for the bug as soon as they can. So get to iOS 12.4 soon if you are not already jailbroken (Except A12-A12X).

ICYMI: Every A7-A11 device in the world can be jailbroken on the latest firmware right now — With unc0ver. The jailbreak is now supported on the latest iOS 12.4 firmware. Get to iOS 12.4 right now if you are on iOS 12.3 or iOS 13.0 since those versions are not compatible.

Once iOS 12.4 gets released (might be pretty soon, maybe next Monday) we could expect a kernel bug to be released by derrek, sooner or later. This kernel bug can grant us full control over the kernel (tfp0) if exploited which means we could jailbreak all iOS below 12.4!

If anybody needs them, iOS 12.3.1 iPhone 7 Plus kernproc offset is 0xfffffff00763e0d0, rootvnode is 0xfffffff00763e0b8 and tfp is 0xfffffff0074e34f8
