The problem with modern-day Irish is that it takes English as a benchmark and works backwards in order to crowbar in an Irish take on everything. It's just another arm of the Irish supremo-inferiority complex.

Legal immigration is an even bigger problem as soon Irish natives will be a minority in their own country and indeed are already in some areas.

It's more of an holistic problem that needs to be tackled in it's totality. Many jobs are unaffordable for Irish people to take, the immigrants doing the work will tolerate poor and overpriced accomadation and live multiple to a room.
