Families play a vital role in the search for and identification of missing migrants. Together with @GambiaMoFA 🇬🇲 and the @ICRC, @SwissPeaceHR & @SEMIGRATION🇨🇭hosted the 4th Meeting of National Focal Points for #MissingMigrants, keeping families at the centre of our dialogue.
Over 40 participants joined yesterday’s online exchange of the Network of NFPs for #MissingMigrants. Focal Points engaged with representatives of families of missing migrants, discussing challenges and exploring ways to strengthen cooperation - with #families at the centre.
#ICMP Director-General @KatBomberger met today with @IOMNL Chief of Mission, Antonio Polosa to discuss the surge in global #migration, the related increase in numbers of dead & #missingmigrants, and the urgent need for #IOM and #ICMP to help states and families of the missing
