#b3d #mocap_import I wanted to release an update today, but the current development is more difficult than I expected. I'll keep trying during the week to release a improved version of mediapipe import in blender. With this, mediapipe 3d import will have much better quality


I've been thinking for sometime how can I make an addon free but also in a way that it justify my effort. I've rearranged my patreon page. So if you can support this work, please be a patreon at patreon.com/cebstudios #mocap_import will still be free. Help if you can😉

#mocap_import I was not going forward on the #mocap_import development of hand/finger pose estimation, but if all goes fines, they will have this kind of quality youtu.be/UkrKCWaYANw This is from #easymocap and is done automatically. Now I'm trying to bring it inside Blender


#DeveloperDiary I should finish the realtime coding on #mocap_import using #mediapipe. But when I knew that #easymocap released v0.2, I had to go there to check. Now there is a better tool for calibration. If all goes fine, it will be a tool to make better #mocap.@


#DeveloperDiary As I kind of finished the #easymocap stuff (addon to import data and the tutorial on instalation/calibration) I went back to the realtime branch of #mocap_import That will make possible also to do realtime face mocap. But... I forgot where the code is 😅


#DeveloperDiary Sadly today could work on #mocap_import, had to start my job at 3am (my IT job) But, I was able to process the recording I did yesterday. So if you want to test the SMPL #Easymocap import, you can download a test at the gumroad "Easymocap_smpl_json_example.zip"


If someone knows something about facemocap retargeting, please give me some light (or links 😁) I'm starting to Sketch how to make the mocap pose est. on #mocap_import, and to test it.. i have no idea how to do that. If you know something or have some direction, please tell me


Good news. Found the code, and made it work in a alpha version of #mocap_import. I'm adding some skeleton tweaks option, so the movement made in real time can be usable.


Ps.: the body I already did bring inside of blender and it is available in #mocap_import. But the hands are not done yet and it is not easy to do, so it may take a long time to be finished.


Lol I thought the same. I couldn't believe my eyes. Now I have to update the easymocap import on #mocap_import. The one I didn't update because I couldn't get how to create nthe mocap data. Now I know, and it seems so stable.

#DeveloperDiary Yeah, 2 days without update Life messing around. The last 4 days are really crazy around here, lots of problems with personal life, so I could not spend time with #mocap_import project. But here in Brazil we will have 2 holiday in a row, so I'll have more time🎉
