The authors clearly needed to analyze more subgroups. I'm sure if they do they will be able to find one with a significant p-value... #multipletesting #numeracy

Let's assume the correct penalty was applied to the alpha level at the final look after dose 3 to adjust for the fact they had already looked after dose 2. I'm not sure how this is done though, so would be happy to hear from any clinical trial designers.
