no css, no js. Plain and simple php/html. tables, deprecated html tags like <center>. Fast as fuck. Of course, that is a backend only I use.

This ain’t backend. You’re just using a MVC framework that makes a strong abstraction and autoload everything needed. It ain’t bad per se, but this ain’t backend. Though it’s nice to learn ;) keep up.
