This one is great I did a similar style painting . To finish it I went back with a thin translucent dark brush and shaded in the broad strokes and shapes to give depth - from one side to give a global drop shadow style . But also from the edges to make vignette

Only a person who hasn't ventured into Fine arts will say crap things like this. A white pencil, especially a prismacolor is used in the end to give light reflections making the piece more realistic. If you ever watch Marcello Barenghi's painting videos, carefully watch his hand.

The biggest learning curve I can offer to help with, is taking a dry paintbrush and smooshing around the pigments until they’re where you want em. If you get too much on, just brush them off! Best of luck!


block out values, create soft areas with a crisp edge, create hue ramps, scribble in details loosely, the algorithm for painting like this isn't difficult to pick up
