To create the background, we used an oil pastel technique called oil blending to blend the oil pastel across the paper. #pdaart

We have been sketching buildings this afternoon in #pdaart incorporating ideas inspired by Zaha Hadid’s buildings and Morag Myerscough’s art work! 🏙️🌇✍🏼

In our Architectural unit in Art, we explored ‘organic forms’ and drew fluid and non-traditional shapes. We used curved lines and practised letting go of rigid straight lines! We compared geometric shapes and organic shapes. #pdaart
