Our students in K3 seemed to really enjoy creating art inspired by Alma Woodsey Thomas. Students used loose parts to create the art and then used small pcs of paper to glue into circles shapes. @churchvilleps #peelEYC

What can intentional explicit literacy look like in kindergarten? A focus on oral language development= foundations of literacy- today after outdoor play we practiced “sequencing” with our snowmen retells #peeleyc @PeelEML
What kind of birds do we notice on our land? Children recorded their wonders about Robins, blue Jays, cardinals and Hummingbirds they have noticed. Looking at the documentation and birds nest sculptures we had conversations about our learning. #PeelEYC @Churchvilleps

This morning brought beautiful sunshine & dry grass, so we started our circle and story outside. Our story was a gift from the #PeelEYC play naturally conference. It was a perfect for inspiring #NoticingNature with all our senses. I captured some ideas b4 running out of room 😅

A truly touching part of the conference was witnessing the outpouring of love and gratitude for @sergepascucci, as it was shared that this highlight of our year was also a final big opportunity to celebrate our #PeelEYC community under his guidance. We have been so fortunate.
