We discovered the timber constructions of the inner slope of the rampart about a month ago and have now returned to discover the outer slope with its timber construction. #Spycimierz #medieval #ringfort #hillfort
But we've just returned to Spycimierz in April this year with new excavations to get some wood samples for more precise radiocarbon or maybe dendrochronological dating. We've already found wooden structures from the ramparts. Still work in progress.
