Is there anyway, in Scala, to get the Singleton type of something from the more general type? stackoverflow.com/questions/6430… #implicit #scala213 #typeclass #scala #singletontype
@odersky is there a way to add extension methods on Java types, e.g. add a static method on java.lang.String ? I can do it on #scala companion objects, but can't get it to work on #java types. couldn't find any docs how to to that in #scala213 thanks!
