Been in a bit of a writing funk lately so this good news definitely gives me a boost. Made it to the third round of the @nycmidnight Short Screenplay Challenge! 3rd place in my group—I’ll take it! On to the next story this weekend! #ShortScreenplayChallenge2022

Well shit! I may not have moved on to R3 of the @nycmidnight #ShortScreenplayChallenge2022, but I got 10th place in my group. I think this is the best I've done yet in ANY of my challenges? Can't wait to see what my feedback is like, so I can incorporate this one with the first.

Challenge 1 of the @nycmidnight #ShortScreenplayChallenge2022 is COMPLETE! Whew. This one took me thru the full range of emotions. But in the end, I cranked out a script I'm proud of. I think it's a good story and speaks to the prompts in a unique and creative way. Wish me luck!

Okay, that's it, y'all. I have written, edited, and submitted my @nycmidnight #ShortScreenplayChallenge2022 Round 1 entry. I went out on a limb with this one, a little outside my comfort zone, but I'm really proud of what I did. Fingers are crossed that the judges like it.
