Facts! programmable sequencing is the secret weapon that’s going to change everything for appchain models. Alpha really does hide in how you allocate!

Programmable scaling makes sequencing flexible and modular for real-world use.

The concept of programmable sequencers, as highlighted by @syndicateio, fundamentally addresses appchain fungibility. For new designs, optimizing inclusion rules first seems paramount.

Programmable execution networks let every app customize its own economics, incentives, and control.

great post. and this is spot on “In this new programming paradigm then, the new most predictive feature to look at is verifiability. If a task/job is verifiable, then it is optimizable directly or via reinforcement learning, and a neural net can be trained to work extremely…

Sharing an interesting recent conversation on AI's impact on the economy. AI has been compared to various historical precedents: electricity, industrial revolution, etc., I think the strongest analogy is that of AI as a new computing paradigm (Software 2.0) because both are…

Programmable sequencers as logic instead of infrastructure is a game-changer for appchain sovereignty.

It's an incredible oversimplification to say that programmability is bad because hacks are possible. You can shoot yourself in the foot with Bitcoin as well.

This assumes the two choices presented are dependent but afaict, hardness and programmability are completely orthogonal things. You can add programmability without touching hardness and vice versa. That's because programmability affects events/actions and hardness is a property.

Programmable sequencing lets builders shape networks around their apps, not the other way around.

This is the part most people miss: programmable sequencing isn’t a feature, it’s governance at the execution layer.

Programmable blockspace unlocks more flexible and user-centered flows for apps and networks.

Programmable sequencing could redefine how apps execute reliably.

Yea solana calls their programmability "Programs". We achieve programmability differently than other chains. We. are how it fits into the XRPL etc. Plus we limit compute, it's not general purpose. But it's gets put into the same box as other smart contracts by the label crowd.

For over a decade, Bitcoin has stood as the gold standard of decentralization secure, censorship-resistant, and trustless. But there’s always been one limitation: Bitcoin isn’t easily programmable.

Programmability ≠ Smart contracts Programmability is needed, but allowing anyone to deploy custom functions like Sol or Eth won't happen
