Count down to summer, “T” day, was all about TEAMWORK! We cleared the room and used our tiny tables to solve equations, color code, and piece together tiles to make abstract math art! #specialeclass ⁦@EESPrincipal⁩

Habitat research and presentation prep is underway in the #specialeclass! ⁦@EESPrincipal⁩

4th grade prep is well underway in the Taco class! Ss are engaged in math centers while small groups are learning the steps of long division! ⁦@EESPrincipal⁩ #specialeclass

Countdown to summer “H” day was a HUGE success! We enjoyed hoops and hopscotch, wrote haikus, made hand art, explored Hawaii on Google Maps, and even learned the Hand Jive! Whew what a HAPPY day! ⁦@EESPrincipal⁩ #specialeclass

If you need us,we will be in Hawaii. Ss completed a problem solving activity using a menu with prices of various excursions/activities to enjoy while on vacation. We decided to extend the lesson,research Hawaii, &design a travel brochure! ⁦⁦@EESPrincipal⁩ #specialeclass

April is National Poetry Month&we are knee-deep in honing our craft! We will be studying& writing 14 different types of poems over the next 2 weeks.Ss wrote color poems&stopped to appreciate their classmates’ creativity & skill! #specialeclass ⁦@EESPrincipal⁩

The end of the year is for application,STEAM activities,&4th grade prep!We applied our knowledge of area/perimeter today as we calculated measurements for our amusement park project.The best part was constructing our own mini rides&attractions #specialeclass ⁦@EESPrincipal⁩

SRO Bartle does a wonderful job keeping our kids safe&making connections.He loves to participate when he can,so when he checked in this morning, he wanted “in” on the lesson. Next time,he gets to take the spelling test! ⁦@EESPrincipal⁩ #specialeclass

My 3rd graders built/coded this Jimu robot.I wonder what all they will build as adults?Technology will be a great part of their careers.It is helpful to teach them to problem solve& troubleshoot even at this age! ⁦@EESPrincipal⁩ ⁦@shadrak1⁩ #specialeclass
