I am now a #Linux User because, I want to keep my PC free of Windows altogether. Computer owners should #Switch2Linux after purchasing new machines, or OEMs must transition to either FreEDOS, or #Ubuntu, or any other Linux distribution available. #SayNo2MicrosoftWindows for now!
It is the long term usage that I like about my gadgets. My notebook is 6 years old and thanks to #switch2linux will get a few more years in service. Why should my phone be any different? Maybe the people at @Fairphone will support @MobianLinux or @ManjaroLinux on there phone.
#switch2linux auf dem #podcast Notebook ist abgeschlossen. #ultraschall und #reaper laufen nun auch unter Manjaro. Neben her noch Debian 11 ausprobiert. Läuft auch. Aber aus Gründen bleibe ich jetzt erstmal bei Manjaro. Die nächste Folge wird unter Linux aufgenommen. ;)
#switch2linux geht in die nächste Runde. Nachdem das #studiolink Plugin für #linux gut zu funktionieren scheint. Kommt nun #ultraschall dann. Vorher muss ich aber noch das Notebook resetten. Wenn ich fertig bin, werde ich eine neue SSD benötigen, aber das ist es wert.
Also wirklich, als wenn ich mein #switch2linux einfach hergeben würde. ;) Ich muss Mal anfangen das Tutorial bzw. Script zu schreiben, damit nicht alle die gleichen Probleme lösen müssen.
Also morgen dann die nächsten Versuche und dann Anlauf 3 der Einrichtung von #manjaro für den #Switch2Linux
Neues zum Thema #switch2linux. Ich habe das Notebook mittlerweile 2 Mal neu aufgesetzt. Das erste Mal, weil ich ein Frankenstein Linux hatte, da ich Linux Mint Debian edition gesagt habe einfach Mal die Quellen von bullseye zu verwenden. Resultat nach Update: bricked
Anstatt mir zu verraten wie man die Linux distribution ausspricht. ;) Ich schaue mir das Mal an, da ich ja noch ein paar Rechner umstellen muss für mein #switch2linux Projekt.
@ultraschall_fm huhu. Aufgrund meines Projektes #switch2linux muss ich Ultraschall selber bauen. Kein Problem, aber leider unterstützt ihr nur Ubuntu und nicht Debian. Ist das änderbar? Ich würde gerne Debian based bleiben.. Die Lösung mittels wine wäre nicht nativ..
#switch2linux Okay, nach dem Frühstück mit dem Hund gegangen und gerade meine Pflicht getan bei der #btw2021 #btw21 . Die Entscheidung viel dieses Mal wirklich schwer, aber soviel verrate ich: die AFD haben wir nicht gewählt. Jetzt geht es gleich #linux Mint installieren.

#switch2linux Wieder was gelernt eben grade. Wenn du in Windows ein #linux ISO auf einen USB-Stick schreiben möchtest von dem gebootet werden soll, dann benutzt du am besten Rufus. rufus.ie Habe das Tool gehabt, aber win32imager ausversehen verwendet. Nu passt es.
