When chained, the ternary operator syntax is hard to read. I prefer a using match(true) #PHP

Combine the new JavaScript features “nullish coalescing” with “optional chaining” and a ternary to make your code extra modern and abstract. Your PRs will be unstoppable come review time.

🔥 I do this all the time. It's pretty handy! Use .filter(Boolean) on an array and you can make your code much easier to follow via JavaScript expressions (like ternaries).

So @code has this new homepage. You can see in the background some binary, so I couldn't help but inspect the page, and yeah, the whole binary isn't repeated at random. It's all written in CSS. So I decoded it to ASCII, and it says: HAPPY_CODING!

Let's just check in on my six year old son. I gave him a whiteboard marker and now he's verifying overflow in ternary. As a dad, how do I deal with this?

My 5 year old just drew a ruler scale from memory. Then we got the square to check. As a dad, should I be worried?

THIS IS A COOKING THEORY, BUT WHAT IF THIS IS WHY BINARY CODES ARE INSANE, BECAUSE THE ISLAND IS NOT SYMMETRIC ANYMORE !!! IT USED TO BE SYMMETRIC UNTIL THEY STARTED PUTTING BUILDINGS. ↓ here's what I did with the differences on both sides

Nested ternaries aren’t good or bad. They’re contextual. A nested ternary that contains 100’s of lines of code? Yuck. 🤮 A nested ternary that contains a few lines of simple code? Fine by me. Example:

OK, so I have to add something to my list of "reasons I compile with C++ even though most of my code looks like C". The biggest one is operator overloading, but, since I basically never compile in straight C, I was sad to learn that ternaries aren't lvalues in C :( UNACCEPTABLE!

We coded the ending diagonal, now it's time for the leading diagonal. #TRharmonic

As someone who is Christian and Vehemently against postmodernism am I silly to be concerned over the push for Ternary computing? The idea of forgoing the true/false of Binary for a system that has an option beyond true and false smells an awful lot like postmodernism to me.
