Business basics remain - launching a company depends on ‘what is the pain problem to solve and is it a big enough market?’ #UJAtech

Was the only person in 2005 who had run a 1,000-person tech company, and after selling Double Click, didn’t have another company he wanted to do run, but had some ideas, so started to launch companies #UJAtech

Why did Double Click put up the huge sign? Chief brand officer said something like ‘there’s no place in NYC that actually IS Silicon Alley...this makes us THE place everyone will report on.’ Bit of luck and huge success! #UJAtech

Despite challenging business environment post-Web 1.0 bubble, the core underlying business was going bonkers - more ads being served to more people #UJAtech
