I don't think that's enough at this point. We just need to tear it down. Trade as many of these as we can: Devers, Adames, Chapman, Arraez, JHL, Ramos, Ray. Get what we can and reboot with young players.
I know for a fact that there was significant beef between Breslow and Cora throughout the last few years. One example i was told in the past is apparently Cora became really upset with Breslow after not pursuing Willy Adames in free agency. I’m sure this isn’t the only example.

1) It’s just $$$. Filled needs at the time. Benitez, Rowand & Zito were All-Stars in the prior szn. 2) Zito & Rowand are WS champs w SFG; Zito saved the 2012 NLCS. 3) Adames having a rough start (133 ABs) so far but had 3.7 WAR last yr. 4) SFG has been worse in trades.

Without any days off? You and I have a distinct difference in opinion. That’s fine. But Adames is hitting under .200. He doesn’t deserve to play every day. Chapman’s average has dropped 50 points in a month. Both need to be given a day off at least once a week til that changes.
My grade is "incomplete." He maybe should have been suspicious about why Boston would fire sale Devers - but how would Posey know what failures Devers, Adames, would be and how inconsistent others are. Wait and see

Oh 100%. I cant imagine being the guy everyone loves to hate in baseball rn, must be miserable. Even with the amaya and adames stuff, i dont love people calling him a dirty player, i think its possible hes just really fucking stressed all the time and needs to learn some control

Willy Adames is playing like a 13m SS which is payroll this year. Next year it goes to 31m til the end of the contract. Which unless he’s hitting 30HRs and playing at least average defense is a way over spend.
