HERE IT IS. The list of Pokémon that are usable in Pokémon Champions. Only 186 Pokémon are present currently in Pokémon Champions.
Maybe they're holding off until they update Home. It probably needs an update on that end to receive Pokémon in GO Safari Balls, so my guess is they intend to tackle that, Champions, and Z-A compatibility all in one go. And hopefully give us more boxes, too.
ILCA like GF is a competent dev when they ain't making pokemon. The real problem is that pokemon fans will defend anything and, if they ever criticise something, they always shift the blame on anyone but TPC

Prior to the launch of Champions, players were confused about how Mega Evolution order works. I tested for an hour with @KarthikVGC and don't feel any closer to understanding it. We did find a setup where the player order determined which Mega happened first (port priority?!?!?)
the only contribution ILCA has done for pokemon is making outsourced shovelware made purely to make it look like pokemon is doing something to keep fans attention between mainline games (then disappoint them)

Pokémon Champions Switch 2 free update (with “better visuals”) is out. And it completely sucks. While the game now renders at 1080p in handheld mode (and likely 1440p in TV mode) it still runs at 30 FPS or lower and the UI elements are incredibly low resolution.

I do hope that they are taking things slowly so they can actually have Home ready at launch for the remaining GBA games or something. But taking into account that it's ILCA we're talking about and it's been 6 years of nothing but flops, I won't get my hopes up anymore.
