The Seattle Mariners prayed as a team after the huge win to advance in the postseason 🙏

Game 5 between the Mariners and Tigers took 4 hours and 58 minutes making it the longest winner take all game ever. What. A. Night.

The mariners have a knockoff Racing Sausages, the Salmon Run except one of the Salmon, Humpy, is a dipshit who had never won a race. Tonight in the 15th inning, they ran the second Salmon Run of the night. Humpy won. The Mariners immediately walked it off and are ALCS bound.

Josh Naylor has quickly become one of my favorite Mariners maybe ever

15 INNINGS. AND YOU BROUGHT IT THE WHOLE TIME. Best fans in baseball. Period.

This gutted me a little, I’m not gonna lie. Paul bled Mariner blue for years. I’d venture to guess he’d imagined a moment like this a couple times, but never imagined being in the visitor’s dugout. His fingerprints are still on this team. Nothing but love for Sewald forever.

Mariners are in all’s for first time in 24 years. 2001 is last time they made it. A snake year. 2025 is a snake year. Mariners first season was in 77. Also a snake year. Washington is 42nd state. Game 1 of ws is on 24th.
Used to get tons of mariners games growing up on KSTW but ever since they moved to the regional sports network in Seattle that ended. SN barely gives us mariners games, pretty rough out here. But of course we get every jays game, hence the force feed.
The Mariners winning and playing in the ALCS affects the Seahawks game scheduling too since their stadiums are next to each other.
I've never been a fan of the ghost runner. It feels a little too gimmicky, and I think MLB knows this. I'm glad that they do away with it in the postseason because last night's Mariners-Tigers game was amazing.
That is absolutely awful. MLB should’ve assumed it was going the distance and scheduled accordingly while I’m a Blue Jays fan I feel for the Seattle Mariners players that’s terrible.
Dude I'm sad. This could've been our clubhouse 😔 😔
Why? Again mariners fans are a tortured bunch....we literally have only been to this point 4 times in 50 years. So yeah we might be a little emotional about it...and it's 100% perfectly ok
Mariners pitchers threw a total of 209 pitches last night. There were 15 innings of pitcher warm ups, at least four or five mid-inning pitching changes with 8-pitch warmups, 15 throw downs to second before innings and one perfect throw to second to get Colt Keith. How many…
The Mariners could replace their team with the 2025 White Sox for G1 and still have a roughly 35-40% chance of winning. Baseball!
May have fucked my back up real good last night @RetinalPW But I still picked up a win And more importantly The @Mariners ARE GOING TO THE ALCS FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 24 YEARS BABY

Love seeing the Seattle Mariners praying to Jesus on the field after their epic 25 inning marathon win over Detroit in the ALDS. Bring on Toronto!
