We make Slate, the agent for long hours and hard tasks.
"Context engineering" and "Prompt engineering" are basically the same and unless you're designing model behavior you are just prompting there is no system being engineered
Slate - Changelog 0.0.21 Many agents suffer from either not being conversational enough, or stopping tasks early. This has been mostly solved in slate. Additionally: - Image support - ctrl+z (not cmd+z) etc. Video related.
So now every coding agent is suddenly "The coding agent for hard tasks" or "The frontier coding agent" etc. etc. Especially since Slate is the only agent that will pull an all-nighter in a single working session with you
Imagine if your coding agent didn't have to compact its memory to run for hours. Stop imagining. It's real, and its in slate.

"TOP 10 incremental agent features this week 🚀🚀🚀" How did we end here when we have the Voyager and Altera papers Who is building good multi-agent interaction, who is solving memory we should be creating novel environments and interfaces but no one is exploring anymore
What if we set GPT-4 free in Minecraft? ⛏️ I’m excited to announce Voyager, the first lifelong learning agent that plays Minecraft purely in-context. Voyager continuously improves itself by writing, refining, committing, and retrieving *code* from a skill library. GPT-4 unlocks…
A smart agent doesn't necessarily have to be slow, and a fast one doesn't necessarily have to be dumb The core differences between agents are in how much of a thinking partner to you they are Can they live with you and work with you?
Vibecoding is dying..really? Vibecode your way to @ycombinator Meet Vibecon by @emergentlabshq (w/ @awscloud & @anthropic) Go from idea → guaranteed YC interview 200 builders, 2 nights, 1 life changing outcome at the YC HQ
Slate is the coding agent purpose built for long and difficult coding tasks
We've been iterating like crazy with a ton of feedback from the community. Heres what we shipped with version 0.0.20: 1. Complete UX refresh (more to talk about here) 2. Improved planning capabilites 3. Better support for "normal" mode running on sonnet 4.5 More below:
And everyone loved slate.
We had an amazing time hosting our hackathon yesterday. We love to see everyone so locked in on the mission. Hit me up if you want to go to the next one. Special shoutout to our judges: @domuai @0xrandomlabs @lingodotdev @stack_auth @s2_streamstore @revisiondojo @oncactusai
