Galatians 3:28 “There is neither Jew nor Greek...” doesn’t do away w/ ethnic distinctions any more than it does away w/ gender distinctions. The point is that those things aren’t barriers to inclusion among the ppl of God. In Christ, we now leverage them to show off God’s glory.
There are so many things going on at once.. 1 a horrible act that triggered pain upon a hurting people group 2 riots and looting 3 a dishonest media 4 a culture (and church) being influenced by cultural Marxism. Reformers tend to get so scared of #4 that they lose sight of #1
Regardless of political affiliation, THE VAST MAJORITY in the UK and USA agree that: 1/ police brutality is bad 2/ racism is bad But a lot of people are pretending that 'the other side' doesn't believe this and it's tearing families, friends and countries apart quickly.
RIP to everybody who has unnecessarily died in the past few weeks' conflict. 🙏🏾 It's astonishing how many people (and the media) gloss over this, as if they were simply 'collateral damage' or that it's somehow justified... I lament the world right now.
