I did a recent City Dinner and Ricky came on to stage to share some stories,he never mentioned Boxing. He spoke only of his love for City, the bus and tram journeys as a kid to get to games, calling in at various pubs after a game on the way home to be with Fans. RIP, Champ 🩵

Protests like this should be backed by match-going supporters of every club in the country. Ticket price rises need to be fought by football fans as a collective rather than isolated pockets, the more widespread the backing is for stuff like this, the better.

Right behind them and if you are a regular Premier League matchgoer, you should be too. This is a growing problem that affects us all. Our clubs don’t want regular supporters anymore and it will get a lot worse if left unchallenged. We need to fight this together.

On the same night City tweet this, we also do this. Do they not see the irony when there's empty seats & fans priced out of it. An important win but just as important - a fan base that really would like the club to protect the generational links we've always had.
