On Friday, June 13, Local 749 hosted its Annual Division of Criminal Justice outing at Hammonasset Beach State Park! Leaders from Local 749 and Council 4 shared union updates and answered questions. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this day of connection and solidarity!


On June 12, CT AFL-CIO and AFT Connecticut proudly hosted a powerful Dialogue on Race and Racism, moderated by the esteemed Bill Fletcher Jr. Union members and leaders came together for honest conversation, reflection, and a deeper commitment to equity and justice!

Council 4 President Ron Nelson was officially sworn in as a member of the AFL-CIO Executive Board on June 12! He was sworn in by AFL-CIO President and AFSCME Local 269 member Ed Hawthorne, marking a proud moment for C4 and for labor leadership across the state.
