Enjoyed watching The Great Food Guys this morning. A pleasant Sunday morning feel good cooking programme featuring @NickNairn. A brave receipe blending all those chillies 🌶 together but enjoyed by those who sampled it. Secret to growing chillies is not to overwater or overfeed.
#legend Well done Peter 👏

September was a wet month with the UK seeing around 130% of average rainfall overall. But there was significant regional and local variation.
⚠️ The Metoffice's yellow rainfall warning for tomorrow looks warranted if this chart is anything to go by (which it often is more times than not..), as very heavy rain runs through the centre of the country by the afternoon. ⚠️ One to keep an eye on!
Preparations complete for the big league 2 clash against Chesterfield this afternoon.
Make sure to come and see us at @GroundsFest next week to see the latest from @XDC_AS robotic line marking mowers, line marking paint offerings & much more. We’ll be on Stand RB381, near the main entrance, so you can’t miss us!
Bike ride in the middle of nowhere and happen upon a lepers well. A listed monument filled with natural spring water from under the South Staffordshire countryside. Hastag history.
A Friday evening hill walk up Wrekin, #Shropshire. 407 metres above sea level and the view is worth the effort. Could do without the mosquitos chewing on my legs though.
Do you remember when you joined X? I do! #MyXAnniversary My goodness I lasted that long... Despite the downhill (in my opinion) outlook of X since Elon took over there are still plenty of decent, interesting & genuine people out there. You know who you are. Hence still here.
Wind direction and wind speed (mph) across the UK today. A northeast breeze hence the cooler conditions than last week, through we're still around average values for the time of year. Also thanks to the wind direction we have a lot of North Sea cloud to contend with.
Not far from a full house here at the Bescot as Aston Villa face Roma in a pre season friendly.
20 years ago today Birmingham was struck by this T5/6 tornado. torro.org.uk/pdf/Birmingham…
Brighter skies, dry and warmer across the Black Country today. Maximum temperature of 25C with light westerly breeze. UV levels will be high in the sunshine ☀️🧴 This mornings satellite view is below highlighting largely clear skies across England & Wales. No rainfall forecast.
⚠️ Heatwave conditions are set to develop with temperature thresholds being met on Thursday (that is three consecutive days above 26C for us), through and beyond the weekend across the Black Country. Heat is looking likely to last into the first half of next week ⚠️🌡️
The synoptic setup on Tuesday sees high pressure developing conducive to more settled and warmer conditions. How hot? Difficult to say whether towards the end of the week it's heatwave, hot, very warm or just warm conditions. High 20's Celsius is looking likely at the moment.
Some very warm/hot temperatures forecast for Monday (30th June). Central regions look close on to a 30C day!
Fantastic views on top of the Wrekin this evening. The paraglider going that bit extra.
With high pressure building in this week from the south (pic 1) it looks to be a largely dry & settled period ahead. Temps will trend warmer as the days go on to potentially very warm towards the end of the week (pic 2). No substantial rainfall totals likely this week if any.
