The amount of times Gyökeres dissolves at the back-post is very strange. You a) can’t kick it hard from there, which is his thing and b) have to rely on jumping over somebody like Konaté. I think I’ve seen like ~70 of his goals and 0 of them have been back-post headers.
The degree to which the Gyokeres people will go to avoid simply saying “I got it wrong” is worth studying.
