Gifted children may start to tackle existential questions much earlier than their peers… and they may not yet know how to emotionally handle these thoughts. Remind your kids that it’s okay to talk about what scares or saddens them!
It’s great to hear that school clubs offer opportunities for all to work at their level - regardless of age. Hopefully this child’s bravado will now open opportunities for other able children who lack her confidence - well done to all.
Today a tiny girl talked her way into the upper school writing club, produced a handwritten copy of @joshuaseigal ‘s Just a Book, gave a bravura reading of it before eating all the crisps & dashing off a story that made the seniors sit up. #SheCanStay
