George Retes is an American citizen and veteran who was tear gassed, pepper sprayed, and detained for days by ICE. He joined @Timodc of @BulwarkOnline to speak out against the harrowing abuse he suffered as a result of Trump's barbaric immigration policies.
George Retes was born in America and served honorably in the Army. But on July 10, 2025, ICE agents engulfed his car in tear gas, pepper-sprayed him in the face, detained him, and placed him on suicide watch. Retes joined @Timodc of @BulwarkOnline to tell this horrific story.

Now that the GOP has decided to literally harbor Islamic terrorists on US soil, I don’t really care about fighting for Republicans as much as I did yesterday. I have lost hope for 2026 and 2028 to be totally honest. It’s like a light switch. The switch has been turned off.
