Too many companies are posting vague platitudes right now. I'd prefer to see specific commitments around recruitment, professional development, and career advancement for minorities, lobbying for policy change, funding for grassroots organizations, and regular progress reporting.

At a time when there are hungry New Yorkers, milk shouldn’t be dumped. We are partnering with NYS dairy producers to use the excess milk to make yogurt and cheese that will be distributed to food banks & those in need.

Shattered to hear about @RScottHake’s passing. He was a mainstay of my weekday mornings, delivering news on @WNYC’s @MorningEdition with calm, a dash of humor, and a stellar soundtrack. I will cherish the one time I saw him “live” at a @TheGreeneSpace taping of @BrianLehrer. RIP.
