I am fortunate enough to be allowed the honor of having my Capstone Project accepted by the State of NC & have now earned my Global Educator Digital Badge, over 100 hours of work in global pd & now part of the elite club of 40 some others out of the whole state.

Yeah! My Capstone project has been reviewed and approved by my principal and has now been submitted to the school system level. 😀

The shoe collection grew from a Global Interdependence​ lesson about shoe production and a book called Four Feet Two Sandals

Our students loved the challenge and learning that things in other cultures are not wrong, just different.


Picking up the naan flatbread and using it to scoop up the rice with just one hand was tricky.


Our class is researching dining etiquette in Asian countries. The challenge for India was for us to only use our right hand to eat.
