Great first day! Students were very well behaved as we learned procedures. Book checkout will start in a couple weeks. I'll try to get more pics with the classes over the next few days. #gr8dayelonelem… instagram.com/p/B1pN5uAFyRN/…
Actually got to help students with a "classic" solar system diorama for their #GeniusHour project. We used a box, styrofoam, paint, and fairy wire for the stars.

One of the easiest tools for effective research with kids. Control shortcuts in general are mega-useful.
Control F is an essential research technique. When doing a Google Search teach your students to hold down the Control key when they click on the links so it opens in a new tab. Then use Control F to find keywords so they can SKIM and look for CONTEXT clues!
Awesome day with the Robotics Club at #ncties19! Students created their own presentation about coding and answered questions. They were amazing and had a lot of fun! #WonderLeague #STEAM
Awesome!! @nearpod will be introducing recorded student audio into presentations this year! Such a great way for students to record their feedback and share their learning #Nearpodtransform #edtech
This looks like an amazing puzzle! Loads of possibilities with connections to coding.
"Turing Tumble has actually made me a better programmer....it is challenging, rewarding... and just really, really fun. I cannot recommend it highly enough. It is the most ingenious, creative, clever puzzle I've ever seen," Stephen Hall, game reviewer. turingtumble.com
