As I unpack a very new #ADHD diagnosis I’ve noticed many paradoxes… I will write long, flowery emails with lots of detail-sometimes far too much to the point of over sharing and yet, if I receive a text message with more than one thing in the same text, I can’t deal with it.
Love this. I was at a catholic school and our head of Religion taught us about the history and cultural significance of all religions but always taught that above all, religion or not, developing spirituality was the most important 🙌🏽
I grew up in an observant (devout?) Muslim household. When I questioned my faith, my folks didn't ban books. They encouraged me to read books by Muslims AND non-Muslims—Christian, Jewish, atheist, or other. It was life changing. Parents: Trust your kids. Ban ignorance—not books.
