No it's because your foreign policy positions seem to be "anti-west = good". You support China, you support Venezuela, you support Russia, you support Iran. A regime can be as oppressive and bigoted as it wants and as long as it's anti-US you will proudly fly their flag.

This awful take reminds me of the constant rightoid whining about “ethnic slop” except this is a liberal ethnic version which views spices/seasoning as the primary measure of good food. That’s the only paradigm in which describing fried chicken as “bland” makes sense.
