Ending Australia's gender pay gap: 'Managers can make or break DEI'
How to move diversity & inclusion away from just HR's responsibility
.@CEWAus, This year #EqualPayDay falls today, August 31, marking the 61 extra days from the end of the previous financial year, that on average, women must work to earn the same annual pay as men. #paygap #WhatsYourPayGap
Hi @Nature do you have any stats for how many of the studies you publish that were conducted exclusively in men are written up gender neutrally? & would you consider stopping doing that?
Join me at this year’s Perth State Conference, where we’ll be discussing the “Future of Work”, this year’s theme. Experts from across the state and Australia will help drive greater capability in South Australian HR. Registrations close 21 June. @AHRItweets #Perth #HRConference
Our society's stubborn and persistent presumption that men will be the breadwinners has all sorts of consequences 👇

smh.com.au
When women earn more than their male partners, domestic violence risk goes up 35 per cent
Ground-breaking Australian research also shows as soon as women earn more than half a couple’s income they face a 20 per cent increase in the chance of suffering from emotional abuse.
Looking forward to the @BritishChamber event in #Perth about seeking new economic ties in a time of global disruption. #ABCC
I agree with @WGEADirector the @WGEAgency data set is a national treasure we MUST protect. An annual census data set to normalise women’s right to equity in economic participation. Fostering respect.
“Strong Squad”!! Love it!
The outcomes for the orgs I’ve worked with who have completed @WGEAgency reporting has been entirely positive. Having the data to make decisions is THE only place to start. @BankwestCurtin
Really enjoying the conversation at the @WGEAgency and @BankwestCurtin event this morning. Universal agreement that progress is *still* so slow.
Rock star panel with Graham Kerr making it clear he thinks progress on gender balance is too slow @BankwestCurtin @WGEAgency @CEWAus

Look what @StravaEng did! YES! Thank you! Women no longer a sub category AND listed first if faster than the fastest man. @strava @CCriadoPerez #Kudos
Hey @StravaEng it might look like a small thing but I have a few of these and, well... If the men’s record isn’t also formatted “CR (<gender>): <time>” then when a woman has the CR this happens & “CR” is not the CR. It feels like we’re a sub-category, not equal (even when faster)
