So, BYU was penalized for getting blown out in its conference championship game (dropped one spot). Which allowed Miami to move up and get compared directly to Notre Dame. But Alabama was not penalized for getting blown out in its conference championship game.
The ACC allowed 7-5 Duke to win their championship. The conference should have been left out of the playoffs for that reason alone lol.
Notre Dame's recruiting class will finish No. 2 at On3 and No. 4 at 247. Either way, it's the highest-ranked Irish haul since 2013. Last year, the Irish had seven de-commitments, some mutual decisions, some not. This year, zero de-commitments and barely any drama of one.
