I'd be much more concerned by a politician who hasn't criticised Trump in the past than one who has. The use of this as a gotcha speaks volumes.

Not sure I understand the upset of people losing hundreds of bot followers. Appreciate I have a small number of followers but I cull all the ropey ones as soon as they appear.

A far greater proportion of private than state school pupils get extra time in exams… which is even odder when you consider the wider context this is happening within: we know special educational needs are more prevalent in poorer areas ft.com/content/5f96ea…

I wake up to find that Queen Anne remains America's last female head of state. That's my main takeaway

Can't help thinking that if the UK changed the wording around British National Overseas citizens passports (add, USA, add 1776) we could recruit another bunch of really good good people to help drive economic growth, build houses etc.

At this very moment, the UK's very own spaffer-in-chief is biovating on the thought, "If Trump can make a comeback, so can I".

Congratulations Vladamir Putin.

Word of the day is ‘recrudescence’ (17th century): the return of something terrible after a time of reprieve.

Amazing. Reading appears to be the main town in Berks country, Pennsylvania.

There's several things American political reporting need to change to be civilised 1. Incorrect use of the term 'exit poll'. 2. Incorrect use of '+' symbol to show lead in polls instead of movement since the last poll 3. Colour of parties Thank you, UK.

Gawd I had forgotten how trivial and not-key many CNN #KeyStateAlert alerts are. 1600 votes in Indiana is not a Key State Alert. #ElectionDay

As I suggested to new Tory shadow ministers, perhaps the former minister for common sense can help them find some. This Labour government has chosen investment over decline. Will the Conservative Party really vote against it? If so, what would they do differently? 👇

The Tories may have elected their first Black female leader, but Labour outperforms on every other diversity metric. The breakdown:

Not news = those hugely benefitting from a tax exemption, despite never being the intended beneficiaries, are opposed to reform of that tax exemption
